Leadership

Thank you for visiting the Santa Fe Christian Alumni Association website. Our hope is that you will visit the site often to stay connected to the Association, fellow alum, and the school. The Association is actively looking for ways to form networks and connection points so alumni can plug into the school and/or other alumni networks.

Tom is grateful for the foundation that SFC provided for him, and his hope is to maintain the initial dream of the founding leaders, “Developing the Christian Leaders of Tomorrow.”  He joined the Alumni Association leadership board so that he could give back to the school that has given him so much.  He serves on the leadership board in the capacity of treasurer.

Doug Yearick

Doug Yearick
Doug is a 1992 graduate of SFC, 1996 graduate of Seattle Pacific University. As much as he loved living in San Diego, he has found a home in Seattle and has been there since graduation with a few brief stints of living in South Carolina and Los Angeles.  Doug has been working in the Online sector selling Advertising for several sites since graduation. He is currently married and living in Seattle with his wife Susan, and his son Harry.  Doug has been serving as the Giving Coordinator since early 2009. In his own words: “ I have felt for a long time that I wanted to get involved with SFC. When the opportunity came up to join as the giving coordinator I felt that this was the opportunity that was made for me. I have always believed that SFC helped form me as the person that I am today. The friendships, and relationships that I formed are unmatched in terms of importance. If I can help just one student have the experience that I had then my involvement in both the Alumni Council and The Evelyn Huey Scholarship Fund will have been worth it.”

Carrie (Hague) Sinclair

Carrie (Hague) Sinclair
After attending Santa Fe Christian since first grade, Carrie graduated and joined the ranks of the eagle alumni in 2001.  She continued on to UCLA, where she earned her B.S. in Physiological Science in 2006.  She eventually discovered that her career passion was not in fact in the sciences but in the arts – after studying Media Arts & Technologies at Mira Costa College she jumped into the wonderful world of graphic design.  Carrie is currently living in Encinitas with her husband Colin, also a member of SFC’s class of 2001.  She serves on the Alumni Association Leadership Board as the Communications Coordinator, and is happy to give back to the school she dearly loves!

He has coached the Middle School Flag Football Team aka “The SHIP” since 2006, winning the ChampionSHIP in 2007 and 2009. Casey has served on the alumni association since 2008 and enjoys volunteering and being active in kid’s lives at SFC. He considers himself a lifelong Eagle. Although Casey hasn’t found the one to settle down with and start a family, he’s confident all 5 of his future kids will attend SFC and become little Eaglets.
